My weekly indulgence...

Salted Caramel Signature Hot Chocolate
This delicious sweet and salty combination brings together our rich, indulgent Signature Hot Chocolate and the flavors of buttery caramel and smoked sea salt. It is topped with whipped cream, a swirl of caramel and a sprinkle of our sea salt topping - a combination of artisan sea salt and Turbinado sugar from Hawaii.

You must get thee to the nearest Starbucks!
You know what really bothers me about this (other than the fact that I found it a week before I started my non diet) (other than the calories, carbs, and all that other good stuff)? What really bothers me is that I found a 3 dollar and 40 cent small drink to become addicted to as the economy is tanking. That's what bothers me.

My addiction is only $1.70! Myother is free and doesn't affect my diet! wink wink

Oh Amanda! Sorry, you got addicted to a fatty expensive drink!!

You could probably make it at home for a lot less. you can get smoked sea salt in the store, and all the other stuff. Just a thought!

AS it is an expensive treat, you won't have it often which will mean it works for your nondiet. You can try to make it at home, but it probably won't be as good, so save it for a treat when you get to indulge. I do have a great recipe for instant Chai Latte that is nearly as good as StarBucks.

I have looked into the ingredients. Trust me.

Haha - I love your ethics!

Lura - I, too, am addicted to the Salted Caramel Signature Hot Chocolate at Starbucks. Honestly, I have to talk myself out of stopping to get one EVERY time I drive down 250...It is easier to resist the temptation while being here in Ohio than it was in Seattle as there is a Starbucks on every corner there, but, the temptation is still very real.

:) Do we need a 12 step program?

Oh my! That does look good though! I might be able to warrant $3.40 on a drink every once in a while since it looks that good. As does that cake in your header. My pregnancy food hormones are totally out of control now! =D

I think we were at the H&G show from around 2:30 to 5:30. We must have been running in circles around eachother. Did you get the free subscription to Better Homes and Gardens?

Lura said...

Yes I did! Usually the subscription is for "This Old House", so BH and G was a nice surprise!

I am a terrible, horrible friend. I completely forgot about your party...though I have had sick kiddos since about then. Including a fever of 103.9 this morning but now they are fighting...can I send them to school anyway!
