Death of a dream

It is said that there are 5 stages of grief.

Denial: "I am going to fit into these jeans again someday".

Anger: "If only I had stayed on that diet, these would have fit by now, ugh!"

Bargaining: "Just give me another try, I promise, I will get into them again."

Depression: "I may never be a size 16-18 again. (Sob, boo hoo, sob)".

Acceptance: "Good-bye jeans. You've taken up too much space in my life for too long. If I need you again, I know where the Goodwill is."

Now this post was worth the wait. The funny thing is that you have 3 sets of friends who will read this. One set can't even imagine ever being as big as a 16, one set understands right where you are and is in the same boat, and the other set (to which I am a member) would kill for size 16 to be one size down!!

I agree, totally worth the wait! I am going to figure out how to print this and put it on my fridge!

I think this could go into
Stare Magazines Hall of Fame! (or would that be Hall of Shame??!!)

If they are worth it take them to Plato's Closet and get a bit of $$ for them...just a thought. Yay for the decluttering!

Been there, done that, repurchased, been there, done that again, bought a giant rubbermaid bin that now rotates through my multiple sized wardrobe as if they are seasonal decorations :)
