One year ago today, I got a cool new nephew. Happy Birthday Leeland!

Also keeping my sister in law's family in thought and prayer today as (if you remember) her grandfather passed away literally hours before Leeland was born.

Last Friday night we watched Lochlyn and Leeland while their parents went to a Casting Crowns concert (so jealous!). Here is Leeland in the tub right before he started screaming and crying. He was so tired. Watching 4 big boys run around and be crazy is hard work!

P.S I have decided I am so over the baby stage. I don't care how cute they are! It's nice to be past that. (I used to think that people who said that were horrible. Now I understand).

Weekend Happiness

A little bit of happiness to get you through this long weekend (not that long weekends are a bad thing)!

The pile of magazines and books I'd like to get through in the next 24 hours. Tim and I are getting away for the night and grandpa and grandma are coming to stay with the boys. I know, books and magazines aren't very romantic. We do plan to go out to eat and also maybe go on a photography expedition, things we both love.

Not sure why Ethan didn't get in on the photo op. Matthew is off on Wednesday afternoons again and Lochlyn is out of school for the summer, so we have been able to resume some of our Wednesday fun. This time...plus one!

I love holding my new nephew. You know what the best part is? I have absolutely no desire to have another baby. (Tim is wiping his brow as he reads this). It is so much fun to have a baby in the family again. Since the last four all came within 20 months of each other, it's nice to just have one to focus on and love. Does he not look like he is smiling in this one? That's because Aunt Lura gave him the best gift of all, chocolate!

BTW, he is wearing an ultra cool "Spam" onesie the we got him for Christmas!

Introducing my new nephew...

born at 1:41 am yesterday. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. Everyone is doing well.

He was born just an hour or so after his great grandfather passed away. Please keep Lynden and her family in your prayers as this is a bittersweet time for them.
