Up until Christmas day, I have never made a turkey. I had a turkey once and let it sit in my freezer for 2-3 years. This year I was determined to cook my turkey that I received from work. Due to an error in ordering, we were given larger than normal turkeys. This one was 18-20 lbs.
The turkey and I. You know, just to prove I was actually there.
The finished product. Not too shabby if I say so myself. (Note: If you don't "truss" the legs together, it kind of splits up the middle. Not a big deal really, just doesn't look as picture perfect as those in the magazines).

Looks wonderful! I love turkey, you can just eat the tops of the rolls.
