Caramel Apples

On Friday night, Tiffanie came over after the boys were in bed and we made caramel apples. I hadn't made them for a long time, and had forgotten how easy it was. The only problem we had was that our apples stuck to the waxed paper.

We used two kinds of apples, one red and one green. The green and their tartness made for much better caramel apples in our opinion. My personal creation. Caramel apple with chocolate and Heath toffee chips. Mmmm.

I want one! My daughter made candy apples with her children and their cousin. Thanks about the book Pancakes Pancakes, I told my daughter and she going to try and find it, We checked Little Red Hen out of Library, tonight she bought the book and a cd so when the 1 and 2 year girls get a wee bit older I will do it again. I laughed, well now I have to do the wheat again, and milk a cow, now I have the old stone churn and an electric churn to make the butter!
