"Haven" Swap

Recently I took part in a swap hosted by Monica and Carrie. My swap partner was Yvette from sunny Florida- although not so sunny recently! I have enjoyed getting to know her and praying for her and her family during tropical storm Fay (thankfully all were safe).

She sent me a huge box and I don't know who was more excited to open it, me or the boys!

First a picture of the beautiful box! She also sent me a really neat water bottle. She's been reading my blog and saw that I'm trying to diet and drink more water. She also sent a pair of socks for each of my boys. Tyler put his on immediately and still has them on this morning. Does that say something about him or me?
The boys with all the goodies. I just had to post this one for the facial expressions!
All off my loot, plus a little car that managed to jump into the picture before I took it.

There are beautiful dishtowels, a garden stone that says "Rejoice", a prayer scrapbook, a lighthouse picture (my dream house is to live in a lighthouse on a cliff over the ocean), a cute ladder photo frame, notepaper, a new mug with chai tea bags inside mmmm... Yvette definitely knows what makes a haven for me. I don't think she could have done any better!

My favorite thing is the notepad above the lighthouse. I have wanted a little notebook to take to church and write sermon notes in. I have been looking at notebooks, but never want to spend the less than $2 it costs to get one. I guess God had in mind that I would get one another way. And this one will be even more special because it came from a new friend!

She totally spoiled me. My box to her was not nearly that great. I didn't take a picture of it and I'll have to wait until I'm sure she got it before I list the contents.

This was a lot of fun. Thanks Carrie and Monica!
