I had a very fun and busy weekend!
On Saturday, I got up and made monkey bread for my men. While it was cooking, we watched my 18 year video. It is a video that I made for my mom my senior year in high school. It has pictures of my life from birth to 18 and music with it. I love watching it. It brings back so many great memories. I thought my birthday would be a good time to get it out. The boys also enjoyed seeing mommy and Uncle Matthew when they were little. At one point, Tyler thought the movie was over and he said "That was a good movie". Ha ha. Watching the video made me realize what a great childhood I had. I can't think of a thing I'd change. My parents also called during the video, so we relived some of the memories together.
Then Tim's parents came over so we could go out to lunch. We went to Logan's and I had fillet, onion petals, and Caesar salad. I skipped the bread and had diet Coke. Then we went thrift store shopping (hey, what else would I pick for my birthday) and to a couple of other places. Shortly after we got home, I left to go see my friends Heather and Tiffanie. I spent the night with Heather at her parents' house. The next morning we got up and went to the Home and Garden Show in Cleveland. It was fun. The show is a yearly tradition for Tiff and I, and we took Heather and Ann (Tiff's friend) with us this year. Afterwards, Heather left to head home and the rest of us went to The Harry Buffalo for supper. Yum! I had garlic butter chicken wings and onion rings. I also had 3 bites (total) of the other girls' desserts. All in all I didn't do too bad this weekend and the scale only shows a 1/2 pound gain. Tomorrow is the final weigh in at work. I'm hoping to jump on the treadmill today if Tim will let me leave.
Isaiah has been crying for 1/2 hour now. Apparently he feels that 8 hours of sleep is enough for him. I'm not really ready to be up for the day though. It's only 4:15 am!
