The Nativity Story

Tim was off yesterday. His parents said they would watch the boys, so we took off to go out for lunch and to see "The Nativity Story". We had movie gift certificates and a Ruby Tuesday gift card, so the day would have been basically free (if it hadn't been for that little side trip to Target!).

I thought that the movie was very good. It made me think about a lot of different things. I recommend seeing it if you get a chance. I like seeing history brought to life. Of course there are a few Hollywood added things, but if you know the biblical account of this story, I don't think they are hard to pick out. (One was Mary falling off the donkey into a rushing river and Joseph saving her).

I was wondering if anyone had seen that. I was interested in knowing if it was good. I might actually go to the movies for that one. I think I have been to 1 movie (other than a children's one) since Sammy was born.

I wanna see it too. Today me and Daws are going to see Charlotte's web so I will have to see this one tomorrow. I hope you and Tim enjoyed your kid free time together!

We are usually not movie theater people, but since we had gift certificates and because we want to support Christian movies when they are out, we went. The last movie we had seen at the theater was "The Passion of the Christ". Before that I don't think Tim had seen any since "Titanic".
