Today I tried a new recipe for "
Pillowy Soft Whole Wheat Bread". It turned out very well and is yummy. I like it because most of the hard work (aka kneading) is done in the bread machine. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I like kneading bread. It's very theraputic. Some days though, it's nice to let the bread machine do the work. This is the first whole wheat recipe that I have gotten to work for me. I have a feeling it's because of the wheat gluten, which I had never used before, but had bought for this purpose. Although you use the dough cycle on the bread machine, you do bake it in the oven.

Lest you think my bread turned out perfectly, I thought I'd share the "keepin it real" picture. This is the one that shows the chunk that got stuck in the pan when I took it out.
