Work and Other Things...

Well, work wasn't so bad yesterday. The surveyors haven't talked to me yet and that is fine with me! The worst part of my day yesterday was all of my co-workers who are depressed, ready to quit their jobs, mad at the world, blah blah blah. They really need the hope, joy, and peace that is found in Christ. One guy told me "you optimists drive me crazy". The surveyors will be there through tomorrow, so I still have one more day with them. The last day they are usually wrapping things up, so hopefully they will leave me alone. Keep those prayers coming!

On the way home from work last night there was the most beautiful sunset. It was about 9:30 and I was driving along a country road when I saw what I thought was a couple of kids by the road. It turned out to be a Mennonite couple sitting in the grass and watching the sun go down. I'm sure they were courting. It was such a sweet and innocent sight that it brought tears to my eyes. Then the song "Walking Her Home" came on the radio and I was really in tears!

Good news. It is Wednesday and the house is still clean. I've even stayed up and done the dishes and put away laundry when I really didn't feel like it. It's so much nicer when I get up in the morning and it's done already.

Today we go back to VBS at church. Then Matthew and Lochlyn will be over for lunch. I had fun helping at VBS on Monday. I helped in the craft area. Some of the kids painted stepping stones and the smaller kids made magnets. On Friday the kids get a cook out, so that should be fun too. Hopefully Ethan and Tyler won't give me too much trouble about going back to their class today. Isaiah gets to stay in the nursery with grandma.
