Home and Garden Show

On Friday I had the pleasure of attending the Home and Garden Show with two of my best friends, Tiffanie and Heather. We had a great time and spent much of our time laughing and being immature. It's like we're right back in high school again!

I thought I would share my favorite purchase of the day. It is a mint and nut server. I have never seen anything like it, and now I wish I had bought more than one so that I could give some as gifts. This is how it looks with the little scoop hanging on the back. Here is how it looks with the little scoop inside. I wish my grandma were still alive. She would have loved this!
I also got a huge caramel apple with milk chocolate and cashews. I have been saving it until Tim feels well enough to share it with me. We also bought many kinds of dip and I got some books for the boys. The Bob cards were only 1.00, not 3.99 like they say on the package. I also got a neat pack of 52 cards with different graces to say at meals. I want to put them into a little basket to keep on/by the table. In the picture is also some free clay that someone was giving away.

You put nuts or mints in it for a tea party. Then you use the little scoop to get them out.

The nut thing is nice but not something I would buy either. Reminds me of something in an old person's house! ha ha

I'm glad you got to hang out and have some fun!!! That's always nice to do!

Ooh, I like it. I love little cute things like that. I get some from Steve's mom and my grandmothers. I love all that cute stuff. I hope you had a great time with you friends, and hopefully you'll get to do it again soon! I'd love a piece of that apple if there's any leftover!!

Sorry, that apple was gone. I even ate it on a night I was sick. I think I'll have to get 2 next year!
