I started the day out by hanging up some laundry. Then the boys and I went to pick up Amanda to go garage sale-ing. I am trying not to go so much, but there was another homeschool one and I just couldn't pass it up. It also said that most of the items were under $1. I did find quite a few things there and even found a Home and Garden party deep dish platter thing (I think that's the technical term) that matches a cookie jar I got at another garage sale. I got it for $2. Most of their items are $20 and up, so I was pretty happy with that find! All in all I think I spent $16 there and got a ton of stuff.

This afternoon Charity came over to gab and ooh and aah over my new stuff. The time she gets to spend here is never long enough, but it was nice to visit while the boys were sleeping and they did sleep extra long today.

Tonight we had grilled cheese and soup for supper. The boys played and then baths and off to bed. Now I'm too tired to do anything. Oh, I forgot what we did for entertainment tonight. We watched reality TV! The boys asked to watch their birth video (it's not that graphic). They like seeing themselves and it brought back so many things I had forgotten. It's hard to believe that was only 3 1/2 years ago. It seems like a lifetime.

Sounds like you had some good finds today!!! That's cool that you and Amanda got to go together! I'm sure it was fun visiting with Charity too.....was she in town for a reason or did she just drive to see you?

I don't have either on of my births on video.......I have some graphic pictures but no video......I wish I did!

I had a great time and I'm glad I was able to come over for a little while.
I loved all of the loot you got at the garage sales.
