That is so mean of both of you. That woman is wearing a bathing suit and the skirt part came up a bit. Gee, I am thrilled when Dove does ads with real women and this is a real woman. Is she susposed to wear a tent because she weighs a lot? Good for her!!!!!

I wish I had the guts to wear my suit in a park with water rides etc. I envy her.

That woman has on a bathing suit with a fuzzy pimp hat and her husband has on black and white plaid shorts with a black and white flowered shirt. It has nothing to do with size. There were so many fashion faux paux that day, just ask any member of my family! I wanted to do a whole post on it and we had a rather long discussion about how those people (everyone who was dressed in something too tight, too short, mismatched, etc etc) must be very secure with themselves. There were almost more people dressed like that than in normal fitting/somewhat matching clothes.

Yeah, I was totally talking about the clothes, not the weight!

Lura...I am so hurt! Why would you post a picture of Sean and I only for people to make fun of?!

Maybe we are the weird ones because we wear normal clothes! LOL

So true Charity. I just love the 2 prints. You know he put those on thinking "they're both black and white"

I sincerely hope that no one would take a picture of me when i wasn't aware of it and post it on a blog to make fun of. what a mean thing to do!

Does everyone get this angry at Star magazine and the enquirer and Melissa Rivers etc., when they critique clothing or is that ok and fun to watch?

actually, yes. I totally hate that kind of show and/or magazine, because it perpetuates a lot of the image issues that I see my high school students having. the difference there would also be that famous people, although it might not be fair, put themselves out there to be photographed at unflattering moments. it's part of their job.

Well, as long as you're mad at them too, that's ok. I wouldn't say that the famous people "put themselves out there to be photographed at unflattering moments", I'd say it's the same. Both they and this lady (as far as I know) made their own clothing choices in the morning and chose to go out in public dressed accordingly.

No no no. You guys don't get it. The guy had on a pair of matching shorts and then he changed into his swim trunks and then he put his shirt back on. i do it with Sammy all the time and I think "crap, I hope no one takes a picture". I can't believe that you are comparing yourself and your morals to Star magazine.
