Angel Food

For the past 8 months or so now, Tim and I have been getting Angel Food from my aunt's church. It is a non income based program to help people get affordable groceries. You pay $25 for a "unit" of food. The picture below is what we got a few months ago. We have liked everything we have gotten. I think that the meat alone is probably worth$25.

I have also included a link to an article about it as well as their website to show where the host churches are in your area.

1) 26 oz. Chicken & Stuffing Bake Dinner
(4) 8 oz. Hamburger Steaks
(1) 2 lb. Lasagna Dinner
(1) 5 lb. Breaded Frying Chicken
(1) 12 oz. Philly Steak Portions
(1) 3 lb. Popcorn Chicken

(1) 7.5 oz. Southern Style Biscuit Mix

We get it too and we have liked everything we have gotten. I was even surprised that the lasagna dinner was so good.

It seemed too random for me when I looked at it last time. I am SO cheap so i needed to make sure that it was a good deal. I added a bunch up and it was cheaper. It wasn't by a huge margin so I needed to make sure we ate everything that came in the box. I think I might try it for next month.
