A Boy and his Hat

Isaiah was helping me sort through his clothes today. My kids just have way to many clothes and Amanda has inspired me to cut down. I filled 3 boxes and a bag. It's crazy! We have been blessed by many people who have passed their clothes on to us. I rarely ever/almost never buy my kids clothes. If I do, I get them at garage sales and thrift stores. Even then, I hate to pay more than $1 for anything!

Anyways, I had to get some shots of Isaiah in his hat. It was just too cute. My dad brought this hat to him at the hospital when he was born.

Isaiah and his hat at 2 days old!

Here I am feeling so happy everytime I open an outfit for Sawyer that I hate (about 5) cause I was thinking that you would love them. I was excited that someone would get use out of them. Then I remember that you just said that you are getting rid of clothes??? Who gets rid of clothes that FIT their child? That is nuts to me. How can a child have too many clothes that fit? My kids never have enough clothes...toys are another story but we can always use clothes that fit. I guess I will sell these at my next sale. He would have looked so cute in these Okie Dokie overalls with a matching puke bucket!

I have a lot of clothes that fit that are just "average". Either I don't put my kids in them at all, or I put my kids in them instead of using the nicer clothes. Plus I have 2x the clothes for Isaiah because of the boys. I'd rather pass them on to someone who needs them or can use them instead of having them sit on the floor or in dressers.

gotcha. Well, all these clothes are for Z and most are on the smaller side (18mos) I will send you a pair of cute jammies in 2T. They are really cute but not flame resistant.
