The Perfect Day....before 10:30
This morning was really fun. I decided to take all 3 boys outside while I hung the laundry up. (Usually I let them play inside while I run quickly outside to hang the clothes up, checking back frequently to make sure no one is crying). Anyways, the older two ran in the grass, the baby ate grass and I got the laundry out to dry. Then we moved over to the sandbox where the boys played and the baby tried to eat rocks and crawled on the cement.
What makes it all perfect? The sun is shining, the clothes and the American flag are flapping in the breeze, I'm wearing a skirt and an apron, my bread is rising on the counter, and my boys are dirty and happy. To me, this is a perfectly simple day!
Until you make peace with who you are, you will never be content with what you have.

Not fair being stuck at work.
Do you happen to have a picture of you in that skirt and apron??
I love that sand windmill thing. I thought you didn't have one of those??
I thought you didn't have one of those sand windmill things. I like that.
We didn't. I bought it yesterday at Meijer for $5.
We just bought one too at Johnny's toys but haven't had a chance to use it yet. It was 4 bucks I think. Big city bargains I guess.
