Interesting

I read this in Sept. 2007 "All You" magazine...

"For reasons that are still unclear, the risk of becoming obese increased by 41 percent for each can of diet soda a person drank per day". Wow.

I honestly think there's some truth to that.

When people see the word "Diet" in front of a food item, they equate it with "healthy" or at least, "not unhealthy."

Diet Coke is junk food. So is regular Coke. I know people who drink 3+ cans of Diet each day and are trying to lose weight.

Until they stop drinking cola altogether and replace it with something healthier (how bout water?) they won't be able to shed the pounds.
