I was kind of disappointed because they were out of several of the things that I wanted to get. I guess overall, I didn't do too bad though. This is the very first shopping trip that I prayed over before I went in. It was my best deal yet (until Friday that is). I paid .94 out of pocket (.75 of that was tax). This also included a 1.00 donation to some charity, which you can't see in the picture.Black Friday Deals...
I happened to be in town again, so I thought I'd go look again. I'm glad I did. I found a couple more deals that I missed (passed up) the first day. This day I paid .36 out of pocket. I used a 5/25 and 2/10 coupon to help pay for the stuff that didn't earn ECB's.

Great job, I've been trying to remember to pray before going in as well. Sonya and I actually held hands and prayed in the pharmacy section of our CVS before we went to the counter to do our first transaction. The Lord definitely blessed us that time!!
where did you get a 5/25 coupon and why it is not in my inbox?
The cereal was 1.99 and I had $1 off coupons from the paper. The airborne wasn't on special, but w/ the 5/25 and 2/10 coupons, plus the overage from my other deals, I got it for free. The 5/25 have been printing on the bottom of my reciepts. Not every time, but quite a few times.
And yes, I used ECB's to pay for stuff, but got almost the same number back, so I'm not really losing any. I have about $30-34 that I've been playing with for a couple of weeks now.
I also forgot to mention that on the day I got the hair color, I had only picked up one, even though with the deal you could get 2. A lady came up to me and asked if I had the bogo coupon for the hair color. I said no, and she gave me one! So I earned 6.99 or whatever in extra care bucks and didn't have to pay anything. She was an angel!
