What I want when I grow up...

When I was in 8th or 9th grade, our youth group leaders had us write out what we wanted for our future. I thought I would share with you what I wrote. I will leave the spelling and punctuation the same.

"I want to graduate from High School, go to college & meet a Christian guy who someday I might marry. I don't want to have sex before marriage because that's what God wants and that's what I want. I want to marry a blue eyed brown haired guy at least 5 years older than me except it doesn't really matter because it's what you like on the inside not on the outside. I want to live in Ohio but it doesn't matter as long as we're together. I believe in the bible and want to have a christian family and live by the bibles rules. I want my kids to know that I understand that I know what they're going through and that they can always come and talk to me no matter what they have to say. I want to be a good christian mother and not try to have too bad of a temper. I also want to be a good christian wife always faithful to my husband."

Then there is an X and my signature.

Update: I graduated from high school. I went to college and met a Christian guy that I married. We didn't have sex before we got married. He has brownish hair and green eyes and is 5 years older than me. We live in Ohio. We have a Christian family and try to live by the rules of the Bible. I'm still working on the temper part and being a good Christian wife. I've been faithful to my husband.

God truly does give us the desires of our heart and I believe he places them there long before they become fulfilled. I am also grateful to my parents who prayed for Tim before they ever knew his name.
