During the storm I was watching lightning in the distance with my boys and listening to exclamations like "wow did you see that one?", and "ooh".
I'm not worrying about the satellite going out during a good part because of rain.
I'm not turning up the TV to drown out the sounds of nature.
No weather banners going across the bottom of the screen during a show.
Don't have to worry about lightning hitting the TV antenna.

well that is one way to look at it. I could do a whole list of why I totally love TV!!!
I lived four years without a phone and although sometimes it bothered me not to have one, there were lots of reasons why I was thankful that certain people couldn't contact me and how much more peaceful my life was without a phone. I also got alot more done! ha ha
i can only imagine crys....CRUP
We have been tv free for a little over 4 years now. LOVE IT!
